At Ferrero Group, we are looking for a Quality Technician to ensure the quality and safety of our products. You will be a key part of our commitment to excellence, inspecting materials, analyzing production data, and upholding our stringent standards throughout the manufacturing process.
What You'll Do
- Inspect incoming materials (ingredients and packaging) and finished product output to ensure they meet Ferrero Quality Department specifications.
- Enter data into systems (SAP-QM), review quality reports, and request process adjustments as needed.
- Conduct sensory sessions for semi-finished and finished products.
- Hold and guarantee product control, escalate Non-Conformities, support Root Cause Analysis and Corrective/Preventive Actions, and provide disposition for held product.
- Enter, transcribe, record, store, and maintain information in written or electronic form.
- Issue, distribute, and keep updated auto-control quality instructions and forms for production lines.
- Communicate and interact with co-workers, supervisors, and leadership on Quality or Food Safety topics proactively.
- Plan, organize, provide, and assess training for auto-control employees and outsourcers on quality control.
- Support operators to verify auto-control activities are implemented correctly.
What We're Looking For
- Associate's or B.S. in Food Science or related fields.
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in Production and Processing - knowledge of ingredients, packaging, processes, quality control, and food safety standards.
- Experience in Quality Control Analysis - conducting tests and inspections of products, materials, or processes.
- Experience in Operation Monitoring - understanding gauges and indicators to identify quality problems.
- Experience using mathematics and statistical analysis on data and results trending.
- Experience understanding industry-related documents.
