Rapiscan is hiring a Quality Management Systems Lead to play a pivotal role in our global Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) procedures. You will lead and support all aspects of our QMS to ensure ISO9001 and ISO14001 compliance, standardizing best practices across our global manufacturing sites.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement plans to systematically align, combine, and standardize QMS documents across global sites.
- Eliminate ambiguity and misinterpretation within documentation.
- Identify, agree upon, and integrate Best Practices within the QMS.
- Identify gaps in the QMS and support creation of new procedures and work instructions.
- Ensure all processes and procedures comply with regulatory bodies and ISO requirements.
- Manage documentation control, including version control, naming conventions, and archiving.
- Work with all departments to gain agreement and ensure understanding and implementation of documented QMS processes.
- Assist in the creation, collection, and presentation of data defined by the QMS.
- Lead and support internal and external audits.
- Conduct training on new processes and procedures as required.
- Travel up to 20% of the time.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a relevant field.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Quality functions within complex manufacturing industries with significant regulatory exposure.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO9001.
- ISO9001 auditor experience.
- In-depth knowledge of PLM systems and document control methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience working in globally dispersed multinational organizations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach.
- Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree.
- 2+ years of professional experience in a managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO14001.
- Working knowledge of additional standards and regulations such as AS9100, TSA, ECAC, EASA.
- ISO9001 Lead Auditor experience.
- Certifications such as AS9145 APQP/PAPP, Six Sigma, or Lean.

Compensation: The pay range represents annual base salary only. Final compensation is determined based on job level, geographic location, date of hire, experience, job-related knowledge and skills, and education.

This is an onsite position located in Billerica, MA.
