Yazaki is hiring a Quality Engineer to provide dedicated customer quality management and onsite support in the automotive sector. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the complaint process, conducting failure analysis, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the product lifecycle.
What You'll Do
- Manage the complaint management process, including documenting failures, reporting in GQRS, monitoring deadlines, and exchanging information with the customer.
- Plan and execute failure analysis of defective parts and prototypes, including reporting.
- Coordinate the return of defective parts to suppliers to evaluate and eliminate root causes of nonconformities.
- Facilitate speedy problem solving for customer returns.
- Manage rework and repair activities at the customer's assembly line and rework area, including material coordination.
- Eliminate suspect parts at the customer plant and Yazaki Systems warehouse.
- Record rework and sorting costs.
- Execute product audits and report findings to suppliers, tracking corrective actions.
- Validate prototypes and samples.
- Assist in supplier audits upon request.
- Provide overall onsite QM support to the customer during the product life cycle, including documenting deviations and implementing corrective actions.
- Support and implement Yazaki Systems procedures and work instructions.
- Serve as the interface between Yazaki and the customer on operational quality subjects.
- Support the customer during new product implementation in the assembly process, recording and responding to deviations.
What We're Looking For
- An engineering degree from a university.
- At least 2-3 years of experience as a quality engineer in the automotive sector.
- A good understanding of automotive quality tools.
- Good knowledge of IATF 16949 and OEM quality standards.
- Good computer skills, including proficiency with all office programs.
- Dynamic, team-oriented with good interpersonal skills.
- Fluent level of English.
- No military service obligation for male candidates.

This is an onsite position located in Başiskele, Kocaeli, Türkiye.
