The Analyst, Supplier Quality Assurance plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity and reliability of components sourced from external suppliers within the aerospace supply chain. This position is responsible for conducting thorough on-site evaluations, driving quality compliance, and fostering strong collaboration with suppliers to resolve quality discrepancies. The role demands a detail-oriented professional who can analyze performance data, lead corrective action initiatives, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. Working within a high-precision manufacturing environment, the analyst supports the delivery of safe, high-quality aerospace systems by enforcing strict quality standards and promoting a culture of excellence across supplier networks.
Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site inspections at supplier locations to assess the quality of systems components
- Lead quality review meetings with suppliers to address performance and compliance
- Identify recurring quality issues and request detailed corrective actions from suppliers
- Assess and monitor overall supplier quality performance over time
- Track and report open corrective actions to management with regular follow-up
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a technical field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in aircraft paint application or related special processes
- Proven background in the aerospace industry
- Demonstrated ability to engage and work directly with suppliers
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills
