Responsibilities
- Execute manual testing procedures to verify application functionality
- Conduct functional testing to validate system behavior against specifications
- Perform regression testing to ensure existing features remain intact after updates
- Carry out smoke and sanity tests to confirm basic functionality post-deployment
- Design, develop, and review test cases for comprehensive coverage
- Manage the full lifecycle of defects from identification to resolution
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying issues in defects
- Apply specialized knowledge in ServiceNow platform testing
- Test core ServiceNow modules including ITSM, CSM, HRSD, and SecOps
- Validate forms, catalog items, and user interface components
- Verify logic and execution within Flow Designer workflows
- Test Service Level Agreements to confirm accurate tracking and enforcement
- Develop and execute automated tests using ServiceNow's ATF
- Validate integrations involving REST and SOAP APIs
- Test custom applications built within ServiceNow's scoped environment
- Lead end-to-end testing of ServiceNow modules using ATF
- Work with stakeholders to create and verify test scripts that reflect user needs
- Enforce adherence to quality best practices and governance policies
- Conduct quality assurance checks on platform modifications
- Support initiatives aimed at continuous improvement and innovation
- Create and maintain test scripts and associated documentation
- Coordinate with diverse teams to ensure successful project delivery
