Rolls-Royce Power Systems is hiring a Quality Engineer - Production Support

Rolls-Royce Power Systems is seeking a Quality Engineer - Production Support to be a hands-on problem-solver on our assembly lines and test stands. You will work directly on engine series 2000, 4000, 8000, and classic engines to resolve internal quality issues and drive continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct production support on assembly lines and test stands to resolve complex internal quality problems.
• Act as the quality manager during troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and subsequent optimization processes.
• Lead and organize complex quality problem-solving efforts, including managing work and task force groups.
• Supervise and instruct employees handling quality notifications and line call tasks.
• Prepare quality reports for customers and present findings from problem resolutions.
• Support assembly teams with quality expertise during new product introductions and production facility start-ups or relocations.

What We're Looking For

• A completed degree in mechanical engineering or comparable training.
• Several years of professional experience in development, on engine test benches in service, or comparable.
• Mandatory knowledge of modern diesel engines and their components.
• Proficient use of MS Office and SAP.
• Good written and spoken German and English language skills.
• An independent, systematic, agile, and quality-oriented work style.
• Strong communication and pronounced team skills.
• A confident appearance with negotiation skills and assertiveness.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of modern quality methods and problem-solving techniques like 8D, 5W, Ishikawa, A3, or problem analysis.
