ContiTech USA, Inc. is hiring a Purchasing Specialist / Expert

Responsibilities

  • Analyze information to support procurement sourcing activities and strategic initiatives
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for request for quotation, proposal, and expression of interest processes
  • Enhance proficiency with tools used for spend analysis and procurement visibility
  • Generate spend reports, establish baseline expenditure, and quantify savings achieved through sourcing efforts
  • Perform research on markets and suppliers to support sourcing strategies and diversity procurement goals, including global and local sourcing and BBBEE classifications
  • Evaluate supplier performance using defined metrics and feedback mechanisms
  • Manage contracts and renew framework agreements as required
  • Serve as primary user for CEOS system, providing support and resolving Tier 1 user inquiries
  • Design and coordinate approval workflows in SAP and CTOS systems in compliance with P20.1 authorization guidelines
  • Maintain up-to-date lists of authorized approvers
  • Report non-purchase order spending compliance to the P90.1 Exception List
  • Act as first-line support for SAP/CEOS MM system issues encountered by buyers, accounts payable, and stakeholders
  • Initiate SSP7 requests when necessary
  • Track open issues and collaborate with IT on resolving system-related tickets
  • Ensure delivery against Service Level Agreements and associated Key Performance Indicators
  • Develop corrective action plans for underperforming metrics and track progress
  • Review and refine KPIs periodically to maintain competitive performance standards
  • Document definitions and reporting methods for KPIs to ensure reporting consistency
  • Support Service Delivery Lean discussions involving KPIs with stakeholders
  • Collaborate with team members to conduct root cause analyses to address recurring audit findings and operational challenges
  • Create and deliver reports to assess, track, and uncover improvement opportunities in master data and business support operations
  • Share performance data with stakeholders and work with management to develop solutions based on findings
  • Partner with stakeholders to resolve day-to-day operational issues
  • Lead or participate in engagement and project meetings to align deliverables and processes
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for standardization and process optimization that benefit all parties
