Role Overview
In this remote position, you will oversee the complete purchase order lifecycle, ensuring production progress aligns with schedule and quality requirements. Serving as a central point of contact, you'll connect manufacturing partners, quality inspection services, and internal departments to keep operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all active purchase orders from initiation to final dispatch
- Track production timelines and proactively alert teams to potential delays
- Modify shipment plans in response to production updates, including advancing, delaying, or splitting deliveries
- Communicate changes in order quantities and partial shipment arrangements clearly
- Keep PO tracking systems and production calendars current and accurate
- Engage directly with manufacturing sites to verify output status and readiness for shipment
- Confirm production completion dates and assess schedule feasibility
- Spot potential risks early and raise alerts with context
- Coordinate segmented shipments when needed to meet delivery targets
- Arrange quality inspections through third-party providers such as QIMA
- Ensure inspections occur promptly after production ends
- Monitor QC platforms, documentation, and pending actions
- Review inspection outcomes and lead corrective actions for failed checks
- Authorize shipment releases only after quality clearance is confirmed
- Share QC updates with logistics and planning departments
- Collaborate with Planning, Supply Chain, and Logistics to align capacity with demand forecasts
- Escalate production or quality concerns with clear, solution-oriented recommendations
Technology Environment
This role utilizes QIMA for quality inspection coordination and reporting.
Compensation & Work Arrangement
The monthly salary range is $1,000 to $1,400. This is a fully remote position open to candidates across LATAM. Work hours should align with team availability in the region to support collaboration across functions.
