PulsePoint is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to lead the modernization of vendor-level reporting and build reliable, scalable reporting infrastructure. This role involves deep-dive performance analyses, collaborating with product teams and external vendors, and improving data exchange processes.
What You'll Do
- Lead the modernization of vendor-level reporting by identifying inefficiencies, automating manual workflows, and implementing scalable reporting frameworks.
- Partner with the product team on prioritizing and implementing new features into platform reporting.
- Work closely with external vendors to refine data exchange processes, resolve discrepancies, and design integrations.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on PulsePoint’s internal data flows.
- Conduct deep-dive performance analyses across vendor datasets to proactively detect issues and optimization opportunities.
- Implement monitoring and alerting mechanisms to proactively identify and resolve performance issues.
- Document infrastructure changes, updates, and best practices for knowledge sharing.
- Improve vendor onboarding processes by defining clear reporting specs and data validation rules.
- Actively participate in the development and testing of new data-related features and products.
What We're Looking For
- At least 5-8 years of experience as a Data Analyst or Data Engineer.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and tools for data integration and transformation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with distributed query engines like Hive, Presto, or BigQuery.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to DevOps tools including JIRA, Git, Docker, and Alluxio is a plus.
