DeleteMe is seeking a Public Sector Account Executive, SLED to lead our sales efforts within state, local, and education (SLED) government markets. You will be responsible for building a new pipeline and closing deals with public sector clients, playing a key role in our expansion.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to capture market share in the SLED sector across the United States.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities with state, local, and education government agencies.
- Navigate complex public sector procurement processes to successfully close new business.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within government entities.
- Partner with internal teams to tailor solutions and proposals for the specific needs of public sector clients.
What We're Looking For
- Proven track record of selling technology or software solutions to state, local, and/or education (SLED) government agencies.
- Deep understanding of public sector budgeting, procurement cycles, and compliance requirements.
- Experience building a territory from the ground up and consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Ability to work independently and manage the full sales cycle in a remote environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Nice to Have
- Existing relationships and a network within California's state and local government sectors.
- Experience selling security, privacy, or data management solutions.
- Knowledge of relevant contracting vehicles (e.g., NASPO, OMNIA, CALNET).
Work Mode
This is a remote position for candidates located in the United States, with a focus on the California market.
