Florida Realtors is hiring a Public Policy Representative

Responsibilities

  • Engage with legislators and policymakers to advocate for real estate policies.
  • Collaborate with industry stakeholders to develop policy positions.
  • Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments.
  • Prepare and present policy reports and recommendations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to align policy efforts with organizational goals.
  • Attend and participate in legislative hearings and meetings.
  • Provide expert testimony on real estate policy issues.
  • Develop and implement strategic advocacy plans.
  • Conduct research on policy trends and best practices.
  • Facilitate communication between the organization and external partners.
  • Organize and lead policy-focused events and workshops.
  • Create and distribute policy-related materials.
  • Liaise with media outlets to promote policy initiatives.
  • Evaluate the impact of policy changes on the real estate industry.
  • Advocate for policies that support sustainable real estate development.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide policy updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in industry conferences and forums.
  • Work with legal counsel to address policy-related legal issues.
  • Support the development of policy-related educational programs.
  • Engage with community groups to build support for policy initiatives.
