This role contributes to the Medical Monitoring Project (MMP), a national effort to understand the experiences, health outcomes, and care quality of individuals living with HIV. You will play a key part in gathering critical data through direct engagement and record review, supporting public health research that informs policy and service delivery.
What You'll Do
- Identify and contact individuals selected for the MMP sample using verified outreach methods
- Conduct in-person and phone-based recruitment to engage eligible participants
- Administer standardized interviews with consenting individuals, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy
- Review and extract clinical data from medical records in accordance with protocol guidelines
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, social science, health science, or a related field plus one year of relevant experience
- Alternatively, an Associate’s degree in a related field with three years of experience, or five years of direct experience in public health or human services
- Unrestricted legal authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to meet federal funding requirements, including accurate time reporting and deliverable tracking
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience conducting structured interviews in health research settings
- Familiarity with HIV/AIDS care and support services
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Exceptional verbal communication abilities
- Fluency in Spanish
