As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will play a key role in delivering comprehensive outpatient mental health services remotely. You’ll work within an integrated care model, focusing on evidence-based treatment tailored to the unique needs of adult and adolescent patients.
What You'll Do
- Deliver individual, family, and group therapy based on patient needs
- Manage psychiatric medication regimens and monitor treatment progress
- Conduct psychological assessments when appropriate
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to support patient outcomes
- Customize visit frequency and session length to match clinical goals
- Complete timely documentation and clinical follow-up after each encounter
- Focus exclusively on your own patient panel without on-call obligations
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in Colorado or Massachusetts
- Experience treating mood disorders, anxiety, personality disorders, substance misuse, and related conditions
- Ability to practice under the guidance of a consulting psychiatrist
- PMHNP-BC board certification preferred
