OptiMindHealth is expanding its behavioral health services and seeking a licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to deliver high-quality outpatient care remotely from Dayton, Ohio. This full-time role emphasizes flexibility, clinical autonomy, and collaboration within an interdisciplinary team dedicated to patient-centered treatment.
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized psychiatric care through medication management and psychotherapy for adolescents and adults
- Conduct initial assessments, diagnose mental health conditions, and develop tailored treatment plans
- Lead or participate in family and group therapy sessions as clinically appropriate
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation following each patient encounter
- Collaborate with physicians, psychologists, and mental health professionals to support integrated care
- Coordinate care frequency and session duration based on patient needs
Qualifications
- Active licensure as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in Colorado or Massachusetts
- Experience treating mood disorders, anxiety, personality disorders, and substance use conditions
- Eligibility for PMHNP-BC certification preferred
- Ability to practice under the guidance of a supervising psychiatrist
- Full-time availability with FLSA Exempt status
