What You'll Do
Act as the primary liaison for dental providers throughout Iowa, fostering strong relationships and ensuring deep understanding of benefit offerings and contractual obligations. Conduct regular in-person visits, phone calls, and virtual outreach to support provider onboarding, education, and ongoing engagement.
Analyze provider cost data and fee schedules to identify opportunities for performance improvement and support competitive, customized agreements where appropriate. Promote the use of digital tools and electronic claims processing to increase efficiency and adoption across practices.
Represent the organization at industry events, health fairs, dental summits, and educational forums to expand network visibility and strengthen community ties. Deliver tailored presentations on oral health and benefit programs to provider groups, staff teams, and academic institutions.
Monitor provider satisfaction metrics and address concerns promptly, contributing to broader goals around network quality and access to care. Provide actionable insights to leadership on market trends, operational challenges, and opportunities for process enhancements.
Collaborate with internal teams to refine procedures, support contract execution, and ensure alignment across client and provider needs. Maintain a secondary provider network to guarantee members have access to services across the state.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years’ experience in a dental office setting with solid understanding of clinical and administrative operations
- Background in managed care or dental benefits preferred
- Proven ability to deliver effective presentations to diverse audiences
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing to team objectives
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% within Iowa
- Residency within the state of Iowa required
