Illumina, Inc. is seeking a Proteomics Sales Specialist - EMEALA to contribute to the commercial expansion efforts for our proteomics product portfolio across Europe. You will drive geographical, market, and application expansion to meet financial targets and the growth needs of the region.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain strong external and internal relationships with key proteomics stakeholders to deliver sales and commercial growth opportunities.
- Work cross-functionally to identify gaps and business opportunities, build effective processes, and partner to develop strategic plans.
- Build processes to define best practices in assessing strategic growth opportunities and deployable growth models.
- Facilitate business case development in partnership with regional Marketing, defining investment needs and go-to-market strategies.
- Develop, implement, and monitor regional commercial growth plans to meet revenue and strategic goals.
- Be a key partner in sales and marketing execution across Europe, working with subregional teams to facilitate adoption of the strategic plan.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, product management, medical affairs, and service and support.
- Provide strategic and competitive feedback to marketing teams and partner to develop robust competitive strategies.
- Develop programs and tools to ensure effective commercial growth management and communication.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on commercial progress, actions, and outcomes.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in multiomics to shape effective sales strategies.
What We're Looking For
- Significant experience in sales, with life sciences or related industries required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in English is a must.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Proven ability to lead and influence a broad spectrum of constituents with divergent interests to create a defined course of action.
Nice to Have
- Experience in multiomics and proteomics fields, such as mass spectrometry, proteomics, and multiomics methods using next generation sequencing.
- Experience and understanding of genomic technologies and how they can be utilized in the proteomics market.
- The ability to evaluate new market opportunities.
