About the Role
The role involves coordinating the development, writing, editing, and submission of proposals in response to client tenders, ensuring quality, consistency, and compliance with specifications.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end proposal development process from initiation to submission
- Interpret client request documents to identify key requirements and evaluation criteria
- Develop proposal outlines and work plans in coordination with subject matter experts
- Manage proposal timelines and ensure adherence to deadlines
- Draft, edit, and refine written content for clarity and compliance
- Coordinate input from technical teams and integrate feedback efficiently
- Maintain consistency in branding, tone, and messaging across all proposal sections
- Ensure compliance with formatting, structure, and submission guidelines
- Conduct quality assurance reviews prior to final submission
- Support post-submission activities including debriefs and lessons learned
- Maintain a repository of proposal templates and past responses
- Identify opportunities to improve proposal processes and workflows
- Train team members on proposal best practices and tools
- Liaise with legal and procurement teams to address contractual terms
- Prepare cost proposals and coordinate with finance for accurate budgeting
- Track and report on proposal metrics and success rates
- Respond to requests for information and pre-qualification questionnaires
- Support business development efforts by highlighting organizational strengths
- Ensure confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive proposal data
- Use content management systems to organize and retrieve proposal assets
- Adapt messaging for diverse client sectors and project types
- Collaborate with graphic designers to enhance visual components
- Manage multiple proposals simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Stay current on industry trends and competitive landscape
- Provide status updates to project leads and stakeholders
