About the Role
The individual in this role will lead the development and submission of high-quality proposals in response to client requests, ensuring alignment with requirements and organizational capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and coordinate proposal responses from initiation to final submission
- Interpret request for proposal (RFP) documents to identify key requirements
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather technical content
- Manage proposal timelines and ensure adherence to deadlines
- Draft, edit, and proofread proposal narratives and compliance sections
- Maintain and update proposal templates and standard content
- Support the creation of graphics, presentations, and client-facing materials
- Track and report on proposal progress for internal stakeholders
- Conduct post-submission reviews to identify improvement areas
- Ensure compliance with client specifications and submission guidelines
- Coordinate input from multiple departments to consolidate proposal sections
- Assist in the development of win strategies and solution approaches
- Maintain a repository of past proposals and reusable content
- Participate in proposal kick-off and review meetings
- Identify and highlight unique value propositions in response materials
- Support the integration of pricing and technical components into cohesive submissions
- Use project management tools to track tasks and deliverables
- Respond to requests for information and pre-qualification questionnaires
- Ensure brand consistency across all proposal documents
- Stay current on industry trends and client needs to enhance response quality
- Assist in training team members on proposal processes and tools
- Work within document control protocols for version management
- Support continuous improvement of the proposal development lifecycle
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive project and client information
- Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and tight deadlines
