Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring a Proposal Manager to lead high-impact federal contract submissions. In this key remote role, you will own the full proposal lifecycle—from opportunity shaping to post-submission support—working cross-functionally with business development, technical, and revenue teams in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
What You'll Do
- Manage the complete proposal process for RFPs, RFIs, BAAs, OTAs, and IDIQ task orders, ensuring compliance and competitiveness.
- Coordinate contributions from technical, pricing, capture, and executive teams to craft compelling proposals.
- Write, edit, and refine technical and management sections to clearly convey value and align with win themes.
- Maintain templates, calendars, checklists, compliance matrices, and style guides for proposal submissions.
- Conduct competitive analysis, market research, and opportunity assessments to inform strategy.
- Oversee timelines, resource allocation, and partner coordination throughout the proposal process.
- Drive continuous improvement in proposal quality through best practices, feedback, and innovation.
- Collaborate with marketing, finance, and customer success teams to support integrated revenue operations.
- Implement and optimize CRM systems and sales/marketing tools to enhance process efficiency.
- Develop dashboards and reporting to track performance metrics and inform strategic decisions.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience writing and managing proposals for US Government contracts.
- Strong understanding of federal acquisition strategies, contracting regulations, and compliance standards.
- Proven success in revenue operations, sales support, or proposal management roles.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms such as Monday.com or HubSpot.
- Experience with government-focused proposal methodologies and lifecycle tools.
- Excellent communication, writing, editing, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines in a remote, fast-moving environment.
- Analytical, strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset.
Nice to Have
- Experience ideally in the defense sector.
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance is highly preferred.

- Salary: $123,202–$162,000 USD + equity via stock options.
