About the Role
This role leads the creation and management of proposals for justice and civic projects, aligning design teams, capturing strategic messaging, and ensuring submissions meet client requirements and brand standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end proposal development for justice and civic sector opportunities
- Coordinate with design, technical, and marketing teams to align proposal content
- Develop compelling narratives that reflect project vision and firm capabilities
- Manage proposal timelines, milestones, and production schedules
- Ensure compliance with client RFP requirements and submission guidelines
- Oversee the integration of graphics, layouts, and visual components
- Maintain and update proposal templates and past performance libraries
- Conduct post-submission debriefs to identify strengths and areas for improvement
- Support pursuit strategy through early engagement in opportunity qualification
- Collaborate with business development to refine win themes and differentiators
- Organize and lead proposal kick-off meetings and review sessions
- Manage internal review processes and feedback integration
- Track proposal status across multiple pursuits simultaneously
- Ensure consistency in branding, tone, and messaging across submissions
- Prepare executive summaries and presentation materials for key stakeholders
- Assist in the development of qualifications-based proposals and SOQs
- Gather and validate project examples and team qualifications
- Work closely with estimating and project management teams for alignment
- Maintain a centralized repository for proposal assets and best practices
- Train team members on proposal processes and tools
- Use project management software to monitor proposal progress
- Identify and mitigate risks in proposal delivery timelines
- Ensure accessibility and formatting standards are met
- Support cross-sector collaboration when justice and civic projects intersect
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement in proposal excellence
