Responsibilities
- Assist with responding to RFPs and RFIs for new and renewing PBM contracts involving low to moderate complexity.
- Follow established company policies and procedures related to proposal development.
- Help develop and maintain standardized templates for designated channel partners.
- Develop and improve standard operating procedures for RFP response workflows in coordination with proposal leadership.
- Achieve a thorough understanding of company products, services, and financial structure within 9 to 12 months of hire to work with minimal supervision.
- Adhere to timekeeping and attendance requirements expected of salaried staff, including a standard 40-hour workweek.
- Uphold ethical standards by complying with the company’s Code of Conduct and reporting any violations.
- Support the upkeep of the RFP response database by submitting updated or new responses to the designated content lead.
- Contribute to the development and revision of proposal content for future use.
- Collect and organize supplementary RFP materials and sample submissions.
- Support daily operations of the RFP content library, including updates within Qvidian.
- Assist in maintaining an updated list of subject matter experts.
- Offer suggestions for enhancing processes and tools used in proposal and underwriting operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or Communications, with a history of strong academic achievement.
- Minimum of one year of experience in proposal writing, project coordination, or benefits consulting.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and dedication to producing accurate, high-quality deliverables.
- Highly adaptable, well-organized, and capable of adjusting to changing priorities.
- Skilled at managing multiple initiatives and engaging with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to handle several projects concurrently while meeting deadlines and performance expectations.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office, Adobe, and other document editing tools.
- Familiarity with current healthcare industry trends and standard practices.
- Ability to write clearly and concisely in plain language.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, including technical editing skills.
- Strong motivation to learn complex pharmacy benefit offerings and related systems.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with RFP content management platforms such as Qvidian, Loopio, Responsive, or Expedience.
