Remote Recruitment is hiring a Property Surveyor (RICS Certified - Relocation to the UK)

About the Role

Remote Recruitment is looking for a RICS-certified Property Surveyor to join a respected UK-based property firm. You will conduct property inspections, valuations, and detailed reporting for clients across the United Kingdom, with full relocation support provided for a move from South Africa.

What You'll Do

  • Carry out inspections of residential and commercial properties across the UK to assess condition, identify defects, and recommend remedial action.
  • Produce accurate and detailed reports, including HomeBuyer Reports, Building Surveys, and valuations, in line with RICS standards.
  • Perform property valuations in accordance with the RICS Red Book and relevant UK legislation.
  • Communicate findings clearly to clients, offering expert advice and practical recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with all RICS guidelines, professional ethics, and UK property regulations.
  • Stay up to date with market trends, building regulations, and surveying best practices in the UK.

What We're Looking For

  • Chartered Member (MRICS) of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
  • Degree in Building Surveying, Property Studies, Real Estate, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience conducting property surveys and valuations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to produce clear, client-facing reports.
  • Willingness and ability to relocate to the UK (sponsorship/visa support provided for eligible candidates).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with UK property standards.

This is a local-country position based in the United Kingdom.
