About the Role

Absa Bank is hiring a Property Finance Specialist to provide customers with tailored mortgage solutions at their convenience while meeting sales objectives. In this role, you will drive customer satisfaction and business growth aligned with our mission of empowering Africa's tomorrow, together.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain visibility and build networks with internal and external business partners.
  • Execute action plans to meet agreed Application, Final Grant, and Registration targets.
  • Engage with existing customers to identify re-mortgage needs and provide advice.
  • Travel to meet prospective customers, provide solutions, and assist in completing and submitting applications.
  • Manage and track all submitted deals through the agreed process, keeping customers informed.
  • Ensure all business complies with the governance and compliance framework.
  • Maintain agreed conversion ratios on application-to-grant and grant-to-registration.
  • Continuously explore opportunities (e.g., property shows, auctions) to increase sources of business.
  • Keep abreast of competitor activities to proactively offer solutions to customers.
  • Provide superior customer service by proactively obtaining outstanding documentation.
  • Ensure any query or complaint is acknowledged and resolved as per the laid-down process.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering outstanding service in line with TCF principles.
  • Maximise cross-sell opportunities with value-added products such as Property Insurance, Life Cover, and New-to-Bank accounts.

What We're Looking For

  • A National Certificate and an NQF level 5 qualification.
  • A minimum of 2 to 3 years in Sales Roles.

Nice to Have

  • An NQF6 Qualification in Business or Commerce.
  • A minimum of 2 to 3 years in a residential home loan finance role.

Benefits & Compensation

  • A Fixed CTC Remuneration for months 1 to 4.
  • Thereafter, a reduced fixed CTC Remuneration with an aligned commission structure.
