AECOM is hiring a Project Manager, Mining

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and administration of mining projects, defining clear objectives and project-specific guidelines.
  • Supervise project teams and technical personnel, providing direction and ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, building and maintaining productive relationships to ensure satisfaction.
  • Manage all project phases, including budget development, scheduling, procurement, contract oversight, and project closeout.
  • Control project scope, timelines, financials, staffing, and quality benchmarks to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Proactively assess and address risks, resolving technical, contractual, and financial challenges promptly.
  • Facilitate collaboration across engineering, design, environmental, and construction teams to support integrated project delivery.
  • Organize and lead regular status meetings, producing detailed progress reports for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Support growth by identifying new business opportunities, contributing to proposals, and strengthening client engagement.
  • Train, guide, and manage project management personnel to build a capable and effective team.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable regulatory requirements and internal standards for quality, safety, and compliance.
  • Oversee financial performance, including forecasting, billing, budget management, and accountability for project profitability.
