Responsibilities
- Lead technical teams in designing and implementing scalable software solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to define product requirements
- Drive engineering best practices across development lifecycle
- Mentor engineers to grow technical and leadership capabilities
- Oversee system architecture decisions and ensure alignment with long-term goals
- Manage project planning, execution, and delivery timelines
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Troubleshoot complex technical challenges across distributed systems
- Evaluate emerging technologies for potential integration
- Ensure code quality through reviews and standardized processes
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- 2+ years in a leadership or management role
- Experience with large-scale production systems
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design
- Hands-on experience with at least one modern programming language
- Proven ability to lead technical projects from concept to launch
- Experience mentoring engineers and managing team development
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience working with Meta’s technology stack
- Background in distributed systems and infrastructure
- Track record of managing high-velocity engineering teams
- Familiarity with agile and lean development methodologies
- Experience operating in a global, multi-team environment
