About the Role
Lead the technical direction of core web products and Chrome extensions, guiding development, architecture, and team growth while ensuring high performance, scalability, and alignment with product goals.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technical vision for core web applications and Chrome extensions
- Lead architectural decisions to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability
- Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver user-focused features
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and career development
- Drive best practices in testing, security, and code quality
- Optimize frontend performance and user experience across platforms
- Oversee integration between web products and browser extension ecosystems
- Manage technical debt and system evolution over time
- Troubleshoot complex issues across frontend and backend systems
- Ensure compatibility with evolving web standards and browser updates
- Lead incident response and system monitoring efforts
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align technical delivery with business goals
- Evaluate and adopt new technologies that improve product capabilities
- Maintain documentation for systems and development processes
- Support deployment pipelines and CI/CD infrastructure
- Promote a culture of innovation, ownership, and collaboration
- Contribute to roadmap planning and sprint execution
- Ensure accessibility and internationalization standards are met
- Implement analytics and telemetry to inform product decisions
- Champion user privacy and data protection in all features

Compensation
$180,000 – $230,000 per year
