Motorola Solutions is looking for a Project Manager (Eastern Region) to join our team. You'll be responsible for the implementation of Mobile Video solutions, acting as the leader for all aspects of assigned projects. Your focus will be on delivering the contractual scope on schedule and within budget while maintaining customer satisfaction and overall pre-tax profit.
What You'll Do
- Direct and coordinate the work activities of the project team.
- Utilize PM tools (schedule, critical path analysis, budget, change order, risk assessment) to analyze complex issues and develop resolutions.
- Allocate all necessary resources to meet project objectives and corporate financial goals.
- Manage direct communication to the customer’s organization and relevant senior stakeholders through project reviews.
- Contribute to the development of the project plan and fulfillment of organizational objectives.
- Prepare reports for upper management regarding project status.
What We're Looking For
- High School diploma, plus a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communication, Finance, IT, Management, or Technology.
- 3+ years of experience in Project Management, Program Management, Business Operations, or Sales.
- Ability to obtain a background clearance as required by government customers.
- Ability to utilize PM tools to analyze complex issues and develop resolutions.
- Demonstrated awareness of all nine areas of PMBOK project management, PRINCE2, or applicable PM standard, with a firm understanding of at least two.
- Knowledge of at least one major project phase.
Nice to Have
- PMP certification highly desired.
- Experience with mobile video technology, including wireless/LTE infrastructure, policy/procedures for retention/redaction/chain of custody, and evidence management software.
- Strong presentation and negotiating skills.
- Self-motivated team player able to work effectively with general guidance toward objectives.
