Carrier’s Automated Logic Corporation is hiring a Project Manager (Building Automation) for its Strategic Accounts division. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of large building automation projects, each valued between $1 million and $25 million, for key customers including general contractors, building owners, and end users.
What You'll Do
- Manage a portfolio of large projects from $1m-$25m each for Strategic Account Customers.
- Ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction from development through completion.
- Follow established project processes and provide direction to assisting Jobsite Project Managers and Project Engineers.
- Complete projects per contractual requirements within budget, on schedule, and with a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Be responsible for the overall financial performance of assigned projects, including planning, billing, revenue forecasting, A/R collections, and cost re-estimating.
- Manage the delivery of contracted scope and secure change orders for scope expansion.
- Coordinate project materials and shared resources, identify constraints, and assist with corrective action plans.
- Manage subcontractor relationships, identify issues, and take corrective action.
- Maintain effective communication with customers and field teams to understand support requirements.
- Contact customers frequently with a high degree of tact and courtesy to maintain and build rapport.
What We're Looking For
- High School diploma or GED.
- 3+ years of Project Management experience.
- 3+ years of experience in the Building Construction Industry.
- 3+ years of prior experience in HVAC and/or Building Automation.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Prior experience in Construction, HVAC and/or Building Automation.
- Experience with Data Centers.
- PMP Certification.
- Experience in risk management, project planning, estimation, and monitoring.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Strong problem-solving, planning, and project management skills.
- Ability to read and understand scope of work documents.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- General knowledge of employment laws and practices.
- Demonstrated knowledge of project financial reporting.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project, Access, and other Windows products.
