Sedgwick is hiring a Claims Representative - Workers Compensation to process low-level claims and ensure ongoing adjudication within industry best practices. At Sedgwick, taking care of people is at the heart of everything we do, and you'll play a key role in that mission from a remote position in Colorado.
What You'll Do
- Process low-level workers compensation claims, determining compensability and benefits due on long-term indemnity claims.
- Develop and coordinate action plans for claim resolution, including return-to-work efforts, and approve claim payments.
- Administer subrogation of claims and negotiate settlements.
- Communicate claim actions clearly with claimants and clients.
- Ensure claim files are properly documented and that claims coding is correct.
- Maintain professional client relationships.
- Support the organization's quality programs.
- Travel as required.
What We're Looking For
- Two (2) years of claims management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Successful completion of Claims Representative training can fulfill this requirement.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
