Meteor Education is looking for a Project Manager – ATC Midwest to own the fulfillment of assigned projects, exceeding customer expectations while ensuring profit protection. You'll manage the entire order process for clients, from order entry and scheduling through installation, on-site project management, and final punch list processing.
What You'll Do
- Attend project meetings to establish overall scope and manage projects from purchase order through completion.
- Coordinate with a Solution Design Specialist to develop work plans, schedules, and logistics based on project parameters and customer goals.
- Review project site, plans, and product specifications.
- Communicate proactively and effectively with customers, providing detailed project updates.
- Maintain detailed documentation of key decisions, customer requests, and revisions.
- Provide timely communications to clients, third parties, and the Solution Design Specialist throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage accurate record keeping including receiving documentation, time sheets, contract adherence, sign-offs, and approvals.
- Work collaboratively with the Solution Design Specialist to deliver an exceptional customer journey.
- Perform on-site leadership, strategic site visits, and attend walk-throughs as required.
- Keep current with the ERP database, acknowledgments, and delivery dates, engaging in continuous follow-up and expediting with freight suppliers and factories.
- Review open projects and the Unbooked Sales Report weekly to ensure all forecasted dates are current.
- Ensure all proof of delivery documents and field paperwork are submitted promptly.
- Perform project walk-throughs, develop punch lists with third-party installers, and manage punch list resolution.
- Confirm project completion.
- Manage all final project close-out requirements including contract terms and client signoffs.
- Coordinate with billing to ensure timely invoice submission.
What We're Looking For
- College degree, or equivalent work experience.
- Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle (an MVR check is required).
- Strong knowledge of all aspects of project management including account management, order management, installation, relocation, and project administration.
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to effectively lead and manage third parties.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to multi-task while managing timelines and deadlines.
- Ability to think critically, make quick decisions, and solve problems.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to undertake frequent and/or overnight travel.
Nice to Have
- Project Management accreditation, such as PMP, is a plus.
Team & Environment
You will be joining the ATC Midwest department and will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
