We are looking for a Project Manager to tap into your curiosity and drive new product development by collaborating with innovative and diverse people across functions. In this role, you will lead cross-functional project teams to the successful completion of projects.
What You'll Do
- Clarify project scope with project champions and key stakeholders.
- Lead cross-functional project team(s) to successful completion of projects.
- Build up working breakdown sheets with detailed action items and timelines for execution.
- Generate communication plans and execute with team members to complete phase deliverables on time with achieved quality.
- Leverage global resources to support new product development from prototype design to mass production, working across the business including Marketing, Lab, Manufacturing, and ESC.
- Maintain expertise to carry out project leadership duties and to effectively leverage a network of company and industry resources.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience leading cross-functional project teams in a product development environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to drive alignment among stakeholders.
- Expertise in project planning, including scope definition, timeline creation, and task breakdown.
- Ability to manage projects from early-stage prototyping through to mass production.
- A commitment to contributing to a strong Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) culture as safety is a core value at 3M.
