Solarvest is hiring a Project Engineer (Philippines)

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned projects from confirmation through to final handover and completion.
• Perform on-site engineering assessments for solar photovoltaic system installations.
• Collaborate with design personnel on electrical, structural, and mechanical system specifications.
• Manage procurement of materials and subcontracting activities using an ERP platform.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely project execution.
• Supervise subcontractors, including their work scope, timelines, and quality of installation.
• Engage with external entities such as TNB, consultants, and local authorities on permitting and regulatory documentation.
• Interface with TNB headquarters and regional offices for metering and grid connection processes.
• Install remote monitoring solutions and execute system testing and commissioning.
• Deliver weekly progress updates and assist in scheduling upcoming projects.
• Support the development and implementation of safe work practices for all project activities.
• Conduct post-project reviews to assess outcomes, identify challenges, and suggest improvements.
• Ensure adherence to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards in line with international norms, legal requirements, local regulations, and industry codes.
