About the Role

The Project Engineer will oversee the technical and operational aspects of engineering projects, ensuring successful delivery through effective planning, coordination, and communication across teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning and execution of engineering projects from initiation to closeout
  • Coordinate with design, construction, and client teams to align project goals
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
  • Monitor progress against milestones and adjust plans as needed
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare and review technical documentation and submittals
  • Manage change orders and contract modifications
  • Conduct regular project status meetings with stakeholders
  • Track project costs and report financial performance
  • Oversee quality assurance and quality control processes
  • Facilitate communication between field operations and engineering staff
  • Resolve technical issues that arise during project lifecycle
  • Support risk assessment and mitigation planning
  • Ensure adherence to engineering standards and codes
  • Assist in resource allocation and staffing coordination
  • Maintain project records and documentation archives
  • Interface with clients to understand project requirements
  • Support proposal development and scope definition
  • Implement project management best practices
  • Utilize project management software for tracking and reporting
  • Ensure timely delivery of project deliverables
  • Promote continuous improvement in project execution
  • Support post-project evaluations and lessons learned
  • Assist in developing project execution strategies
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends and technologies
