About the Role

AECOM is hiring a Project Engineer, Electrical to join the Enterprise Capabilities team. You will partner with regional and Global Business Line project teams, providing technical expertise to accelerate project delivery and maintain AECOM's competitive edge.

What You'll Do

  • Perform specific portions of broader engineering assignments under experienced guidance.
  • Gather and correlate basic engineering data using established, well-defined procedures.
  • Work on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.
  • Propose approaches to solve new problems using modifications of standard procedures.
  • Identify discrepancies in results.
  • Provide guidance to entry-level engineers.
  • Perform work in accordance with an agreed-upon budget and schedule with minimal supervision.
  • Independently perform all tasks necessary to complete primary design elements for engineering works.

What We're Looking For

  • 4 to 8 years of design experience in building or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong theoretical understanding of design with a solid academic background.
  • Excellent work attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Understanding of local codes and authority submission procedures.
  • Team player able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
  • Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with good academic results.
  • Graduate member of a relevant professional institute.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in large-scale infrastructure and railway projects.
  • Candidates with experience in M&E infrastructure such as metro and railways.
  • Computational software skills.

Work Mode

This role follows a local-city work mode and is based in Damansara City.
