BESIX is hiring a Project Engineer to ensure the successful planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects. You will be responsible for project design, quality, budget monitoring, and acting as the key liaison between all project stakeholders.
What You'll Do
- Actively participate in project design and the writing of offers.
- Ensure optimal project planning and preparation.
- Be responsible for the quality of delivered projects.
- Be responsible for budget monitoring and regular cost monitoring of your projects.
- Serve as the primary contact point, ensuring optimal information sharing between clients, architects, engineering offices, project owners, and support services.
- Ensure the preparation and follow-up of the effective execution of projects on site.
- Ensure the supply of sites with necessary equipment and resources.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Suspend activities in case of danger to safety, health, or the environment.
- Ensure compliance with client requirements and quality procedures.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company in Safety, Health, Environment & Quality.
- Promote the company's values and act as a reference, particularly in terms of respect.
What We're Looking For
- Civil, Industrial, or Architectural Engineering degree in the Construction field.
- VCA-Cadre safety certificate.
- Proficiency in French and Dutch.
- Autonomous, organized, and solution-oriented mindset.
- Team spirit and integrity.
- Good relational and commercial skills.
- High organizational skills.
- Ease of use of digital environments.
- Experience in tender management.
- Holder of a B driver's license.
Nice to Have
- First proven experience in the construction sector.
- Knowledge of English.
Team & Environment
You will join the Projects department, reporting directly to a Project Manager.
Work Mode
This position is onsite, requiring your presence at project locations and company offices.
