About the Role
This position is responsible for managing project control processes including cost estimation, schedule development, risk analysis, and progress reporting to support successful project execution.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project schedules using industry-standard planning tools
- Monitor project budgets and track financial performance against forecasts
- Prepare regular status reports for project stakeholders and management
- Analyze project variances and recommend corrective actions
- Support project managers with forecasting and resource planning
- Maintain project documentation and control systems
- Assist in the development of project baselines for time and cost
- Conduct risk assessments related to schedule and budget outcomes
- Ensure compliance with internal project control procedures
- Facilitate data collection from project teams for performance measurement
- Perform earned value management analysis
- Coordinate with engineering and procurement teams on milestone tracking
- Update scheduling models to reflect project changes and updates
- Identify potential delays and cost overruns early in the project lifecycle
- Support change management processes with impact assessments
- Participate in project reviews and planning meetings
- Track key performance indicators for project control metrics
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals and bids
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across project control systems
- Provide training and guidance on project control tools and methods
