MAZARS is looking for a Junior Double Parcours Audit Financier/Audit Corporate Treasury to join its Debt & Treasury Advisory department. You will build a dual expertise in financial audit and treasury risk management, becoming an augmented auditor who provides valuable technical insight to clients. You’ll be integrated into a team at the heart of corporate transformations, while also contributing to the department's growth through business development and thought leadership.
What You'll Do
- Perform statutory, contractual, acquisition, and divestment audits.
- Audit treasury information systems, including TMS, bank communication, ERP, and trading platforms.
- Review the accounting treatment and valuation of derivative instruments under French GAAP and IFRS.
- Analyze risk management policies, hedging strategies, net debt, and financial results.
- Review financial information on external debt structures (EMTN, private placements, USPP, Schuldschein, syndicated credit).
- Analyze cash, cash equivalents, and various investment vehicles (UCITS, DAT, CAT).
- Diagnose the Treasury function, assessing its risks, processes, tools, and organization.
- Support Treasury and Finance departments on run activities and projects such as M&A, carve-outs, and IT transformations.
- Contribute to team development by preparing commercial proposals, leading internal and external training, and publishing articles and benchmarks.
What We're Looking For
- A graduate from a top business school, engineering school, or university.
- Successful internship or apprenticeship experience in treasury consulting, a corporate Treasury/Finance department, market finance, or financial audit.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and strong adaptability.
- Appreciation for teamwork and a proactive, dynamic, entrepreneurial spirit.
- Ability to combine analytical skills, rigor, and good humor.
- Technical mastery, analytical skills, curiosity, and interest in technological innovations.
- Good command of English in a professional environment.
Team & Environment
You will join a team of over 60 dedicated employees within the Debt & Treasury Advisory department, founded 10 years ago by three partners. You will report to the Senior Manager or Partner leading the team.
