The Women Donors Network is hiring a Program Manager to operationalize WDN Action’s strategic priorities and ensure the smooth functioning of the organization. This full-time, remote role reports directly to the Managing Director of Politics and Advocacy and involves occasional travel.
What You'll Do
- Develop and streamline systems of organization and prioritization that support daily operations and special projects.
- Manage complex calendar and scheduling needs, including appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
- Triage incoming communications, tasks, requests, inquiries, and invitations based on urgency and importance.
- Collaborate with WDN leadership to ensure the Managing Director is fully informed and well-prepared for upcoming commitments.
- Coordinate record-keeping, expense management, itineraries, and logistics related to travel, speaking engagements, and events.
- Support relationship management by ensuring timely communications and scheduling with staff, consultants, members, Board members, and external partners.
- Conduct research and gather information to support decision-making and problem-solving.
- Prepare and organize sensitive and confidential documents, reports, and presentations for meetings and executive events, taking meeting notes as needed.
- Track and follow up on action items and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
- Anticipate upcoming needs and proactively prepare, initiate problem-solving, and implement solutions.
- Plan, execute, and oversee special projects, rapid response moments, and emerging initiatives from start to finish, ensuring timelines, budget, and expectations are met.
- Collaborate with the Operations, Learning & Impact, Community & Development, and Communications Teams on event logistics.
- Attend project meetings by request, taking notes and synthesizing action steps and meeting summaries.
- Support coordination across team verticals to align project activities, gather information, and ensure seamless implementation.
- Build and manage effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Build and sustain a culture of collaboration, communication, excellence, and accountability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners on annual planning, strategy, budgeting, and other relevant organization-wide initiatives.
- Participate in team meetings and projects, sharing insights, providing thoughtful feedback, and collaborating with colleagues.
- Follow organizational standards and ensure timely completion of responsibilities.
- Support onboarding and training of new team members, consultants, external partners, and grantees.
- Seek opportunities for professional growth through training, workshops, and self-directed learning.
- Contribute to organizational success by continuously learning about industry trends and best practices, updating practices and approaches.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of executive-level administrative experience supporting executive team members, high-profile individuals, or political leaders.
- Based in the United States and available to work across US time zones.
- Ability to work weekday hours across time zones and maintain a flexible schedule due to the emergent and rapid response nature of the work.
- Demonstrated experience and comfort with remote work.
- Demonstrated interest in and a steadfast commitment to WDN/A’s mission, strategic vision, and priorities rooted in collective liberation.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a clear understanding of workflow processes.
- Proactive, responsive, and excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to effectively interface with a wide range of stakeholders while using discretion and maintaining confidentiality.
- Expertise and ease with Google Suite and project management systems like Clickup.
- Ability to manage high-stakes work, exercise independent judgment, and handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Belief in working together for the greater good and enjoyment of collaborating cross-functionally.
Nice to Have
- Backgrounds or previous work experience in politics, advocacy, or related fields.
- Backgrounds or previous work experience as an Executive Assistant, Operations Manager, Project Manager, or Program Manager.

Team & Environment
This is a geographically distributed, remote team of 25. There is a shared staffing structure across WDN and WDN Action, and you will report to the Managing Director of Politics and Advocacy.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $110K/year
- Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance (paid by WDN at 100% for employees and 80% for dependents)
- 401K Contribution (4% of your gross pay contributed by WDN and an additional 3% match of your gross pay)
