Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring a Program Manager to lead strategic transformation initiatives for federal health systems. In this remote role, you will manage a portfolio of contracts dedicated to modernizing enterprise IT infrastructure and advancing interoperability to improve outcomes for veterans across the United States.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct supervision for employees and contractors across a portfolio of contracts, ensuring high-quality performance and adherence to standards.
- Oversee daily contract operations, deliverable production, reporting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Develop and maintain project management plans, schedules, performance metrics, staffing plans, and milestone tracking using approved tools.
- Manage interoperability initiatives involving VA, DoD, and community care partners, ensuring compliance with federal standards such as FHIR, HL7, Direct Messaging, and TEFCA.
- Lead stakeholder collaboration with agencies, vendors, and healthcare partners to advance seamless data sharing.
- Champion Agile and SAFe practices to enable rapid, scalable, and continuous improvement across projects.
- Conduct risk assessments, ensure compliance with security and data standards, and provide strategic recommendations to leadership.
- Prepare executive-level briefings, reports, and program updates for oversight bodies.
What We're Looking For
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience managing diverse IT programs, including large-scale federal health initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, enterprise network engineering, and strategic information planning.
- Proven ability to lead Agile teams and apply SAFe methodologies effectively.
- Expertise in Jira for program planning, tracking, and multi-team coordination.
- Advanced proficiency in SharePoint Online, Office 365, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and executive facilitation skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain VA Public Trust clearance; US work authorization required.
Nice to Have
- PMP, PgMP, CSM, or SAFe certification.
- Prior VA or government agency experience.
- Proven success in remote work environments.
