Parsons Transportation Group is hiring a Program Manager – Design/Construction to plan, direct, and control execution for a major complex design-build construction program. You will join our Federal Solutions team and be responsible for all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of this critical project.
What You'll Do
- Plan, direct, supervise, and control the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions for the assigned project.
- Oversee establishment of the Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and Subcontracting Plan.
- Establish program requirements and monitor deliverables for adherence to these criteria.
- Assign responsibility for executing project plans to key subordinates based on their qualifications.
- Negotiate changes to the scope of work with the client and key subcontractors.
- Manage contract deliverables, track scope changes, and control budgets.
- Support business development opportunities and provide input on development plans for subordinates.
- Mobilize company resources to support an effective project team.
- Manage change order logs, track risks, and report on project progress and significant milestones.
- Manage subcontracts performing field execution and run weekly project status meetings.
- Develop a succession plan for key project roles.
What We're Looking For
- 15+ years of directly related work experience.
- At least 10 years experience with FFP contracts of similar scale and complexity is ideal.
- Proven ability to manage a major complex design-build construction program.
- Advanced leadership skills with ability to perform in a management capacity.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Thorough knowledge of construction practices and regulations.
- Must be a US Citizen and able to clear requirements for site access.
- Able to manage to expedited schedules with a recent track record of doing so.
Nice to Have
- Working knowledge of federal, state, and county level construction requirements.
- Exceptional client communications skills.
