About the Role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Program Coordinator to join the College of Medicine, Department of Urology. In this role, you will provide comprehensive programmatic and administrative support critical to maintaining high standards of patient care, faculty support, and departmental operations.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate physician outreach engagements and continuing education events.
  • Develop professional presentations and prepare productivity reports.
  • Manage faculty calendars, schedules, and develop the call schedule.
  • Update faculty curriculum vitae and assist with promotion and tenure packets.
  • Prepare letters of recommendation and assist with daily correspondence.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes.
  • Screen and answer calls, properly routing incoming communications.
  • Manage all departmental travel (in-state, out-of-state, and international).
  • Process travel and purchasing in Workday in compliance with policies.
  • Prepare travel binders and submit timely reimbursements.
  • Manage purchasing encumbrances and order office supplies.
  • Maintain faculty medical licensures, memberships, and credentialing information.
  • Manage the department’s property and maintain office equipment.
  • Assist faculty with acquiring IT support and provide contracts support as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

  • A Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, or a related field, OR a HS diploma/GED plus four (4) years of professional administrative support.
  • At least 5 years’ experience preparing executive-level correspondence, letters, CVs, and professional documents.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) at an Intermediate Level.
