This role focuses on developing world-class interdisciplinary research, technological innovation, and technology-based entrepreneurship in Supply Chain and Logistics Systems, with strong engagement from industry, public institutions, and global partners.
What You'll Do
- Develop a high-impact applied research program in Supply Chain and Logistics Systems.
- Collaborate with manufacturing firms, logistics providers, and retailers.
- Lead research addressing real-world supply chain challenges.
- Mentor graduate students working on applied supply chain projects.
- Publish research while prioritizing operational impact and technology adoption.
- Establish long-term partnerships with companies and industrial organizations.
- Participate in the Institute’s corporate membership and collaboration programs.
- Lead industry workshops, executive roundtables, and collaborative innovation initiatives.
- Contribute to executive education and professional training programs for industry focused on supply chain transformation.
What We're Looking For
- Hold a Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Transportation, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrate experience working on supply chain or logistics systems with practical applications.
- Have proven experience collaborating with industry partners or government organizations.
- Show the ability to secure research funding and develop strategic industry partnerships.
- Possess strong written and oral communication skills in English (minimum B2 level).
Nice to Have
- Spanish language skills.
