About the Role

Transport for London (TfL) is looking for a Security Consultant to champion technical consultancy and specification-based selling for ASSA ABLOY pedestrian entrance solutions across Saudi Arabia. You'll be the technical expert, ensuring our automatic doors and security entrance systems are specified in major projects.

What You'll Do

  • Promote ASSA ABLOY pedestrian entrance solutions, including automatic sliding, swing, and revolving doors, security entrance systems, and access control integrations.
  • Identify new project opportunities through contractors, consultants, architects, facility owners, and government entities.
  • Drive specification-based selling to ensure products are listed in project BOQs and tender documents.
  • Support the sales team with technical input, pricing strategies, and customer presentations.
  • Develop clear, accurate, and compliant technical specifications for pedestrian entrance products.
  • Review architectural drawings, security layouts, and project requirements to propose suitable solutions.
  • Prepare product submittals, compliance statements, and technical documents for consultant and project approvals.
  • Ensure specifications align with international standards like EN16005, UL, and ANSI, as well as local regulatory requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, architects, facility managers, and decision-makers.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, training, and awareness sessions.
  • Provide pre-sales technical support and coordinate with operations for site assessments.
  • Participate in industry events, exhibitions, and seminars to represent ASSA ABLOY.
  • Monitor competitor products, pricing, and positioning in the Saudi market.
  • Track project pipelines, tender releases, and upcoming developments in the security and automation sector.
  • Provide reports on market trends, customer behaviors, and product opportunities.
  • Work closely with product managers, sales, and operations teams on proposals, tenders, and project deliveries.
  • Maintain updated specification libraries, product data sheets, BIM files, and compliance documentation.
  • Ensure CRM entries, opportunity tracking, and reporting are accurate and timely.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Security Technology, or a related field).
  • 3–7 years of experience in security systems, automation, architectural solutions, or entrance technologies.
  • Knowledge of pedestrian entrance products, access control systems, and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
  • Proficiency in reading drawings (AutoCAD/Revit).
  • Valid Saudi driving license.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in consultant engagement and specification writing.
  • Arabic language skills.
