EY is seeking a Manager to join the EY-Parthenon Corporate Finance - Quantitative Finance and Economics practice. In this role, you will determine the value of derivatives and other complex financial instruments to support clients with financial reporting and tax planning. You’ll analyze financial information, develop sophisticated models, and play a key role in managing client relationships.
What You’ll Do
- Determine the value of derivatives and other complex financial instruments to support clients with financial reporting requirements and tax planning.
- Analyze financial information to forecast business conditions and develop financial models.
- Analyze and develop models to value financial instruments using option pricing theory, fixed income and structured finance models, Monte Carlo simulation, and statistical analysis.
- Stay abreast of current business and economic developments relevant to client's business.
- Use technology and tools to innovate and enhance the effectiveness of services provided.
- Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds.
- Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress.
- Maintain long-term client relationships and networks.
- Cultivate business development opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering, Computational Finance, or a related field plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience. OR a Master’s degree in the same fields plus 3 years of related work experience.
- 3 years of experience at a national valuation firm, accounting firm’s valuation practice, investment banking, private equity/venture capital, and/or commercial banking.
- 3 years of recent experience in valuing complex securities, including options, warrants, fixed income securities, structured products and other derivatives.
- 3 years of experience working within a given budget and schedule, and providing top-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- 3 years of recent experience in a financial engineering or statistical software package such as Matlab, Stata, Bloomberg, or MS Excel/VBA.
- 3 years of recent experience in Word and PowerPoint.
- Domestic travel required up to 25%.
