Tecmilenio is hiring a full-time Professor/Investigator to develop interdisciplinary research, innovation, and entrepreneurship in Supply Chain and Logistics Systems. In this role, you will conduct applied research in partnership with industry, public institutions, and global networks to solve complex industrial challenges.
What You'll Do
- Develop a high-impact applied research program in Supply Chain and Logistics Systems.
- Collaborate with manufacturing firms, logistics providers, and retailers.
- Lead research initiatives that address real-world supply chain challenges.
- Mentor graduate students working on applied supply chain projects.
- Publish research while prioritizing operational impact and technology adoption.
- Establish long-term partnerships with companies and industrial organizations.
- Participate in the Institute’s corporate membership and collaboration programs.
- Lead industry workshops, executive roundtables, and collaborative innovation initiatives.
- Contribute to executive education and professional training programs focused on supply chain transformation.
What We're Looking For
- A Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Transportation, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience working on supply chain or logistics systems with practical applications.
- Demonstrated history of collaboration with industry partners or government organizations.
- Ability to secure research funding and develop strategic industry partnerships.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English (minimum B2 level).
Nice to Have
- Spanish language skills.
