Giesecke+Devrient – SecurityTech is looking for a Production Team Lead to oversee and enhance our manufacturing processes. This role is crucial for ensuring operational excellence and leading our team towards achieving high-quality standards.

What You'll Do

Lead shift production activities within the department, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
Train and mentor department team members, including agency employees, in production processes
Coordinate and streamline production activities within the department for optimal efficiency
Act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day operational queries
Monitor team performance and attendance, providing constructive feedback
Expertly manage production machines as the department's subject matter expert
Communicate operational issues or concerns to the Production Manager
Oversee production quality control to ensure compliance with standards
Implement and maintain shop floor organization and cleanliness following 6S principles
Adhere to and enforce company policies, procedures, and processes
Undertake additional responsibilities and duties as required

What We're Looking For

Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing plant environment
High school diploma or equivalent education
At least 1 year of leadership experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a customer-focused approach
Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, Quality standards, and GMP
Proficient verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
High level of personal integrity
Availability and willingness to work overtime as required
