Giesecke+Devrient – SecurityTech is looking for a Production Team Lead to oversee and enhance our manufacturing processes. This role is crucial for ensuring operational excellence and leading our team towards achieving high-quality standards.
What You'll Do
- Lead shift production activities within the department, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
- Train and mentor department team members, including agency employees, in production processes
- Coordinate and streamline production activities within the department for optimal efficiency
- Act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day operational queries
- Monitor team performance and attendance, providing constructive feedback
- Expertly manage production machines as the department's subject matter expert
- Communicate operational issues or concerns to the Production Manager
- Oversee production quality control to ensure compliance with standards
- Implement and maintain shop floor organization and cleanliness following 6S principles
- Adhere to and enforce company policies, procedures, and processes
- Undertake additional responsibilities and duties as required
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing plant environment
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- At least 1 year of leadership experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a customer-focused approach
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, Quality standards, and GMP
- Proficient verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- High level of personal integrity
- Availability and willingness to work overtime as required
Team & Environment
You will report directly to the Production Manager.
