Boston Scientific is hiring a Production Supervisor at our Cartago location. You will be directly responsible for production and product quality, as well as managing line personnel and ensuring operational efficiency and standardization.
What You'll Do
- Oversee operations efficiency and standardization.
- Be directly responsible for the production and quality of the product, as well as line personnel.
- Analyze and evaluate process improvements to reduce defects and scrap and/or improve yields.
- Follow procedures established for each operation and keep work areas organized and clean.
- Participate and/or lead problem solving processes related to complaints, defects, scrap, or low productivity.
- Support employee-safety oriented initiatives, including rotation programs, use of safety equipment, and EH&S awareness programs.
- Support the EHS management system: understand, know, and apply EHS policy, and acknowledge and inform environmental aspects and health and safety risks.
- Provide feedback to PB IV.
- Assure that appropriate resources (personnel, tools, etc.) are maintained to ensure Quality System compliance and adherence to the BSC Quality Policy.
- Establish and promote a work environment that supports the Quality Policy and Quality System.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- English Level required: B1 (60-69%).
Nice to Have
- CQE and/or APICs Certification desirable.
- Problem Solving methodologies.
- Lean Tools: 5S.

This is a local-country position based in Cartago.
