Graphic Packaging International is hiring a Production Planner/Scheduler for its Gresham, OR facility. You will be responsible for scheduling all production activities and ensuring the correct resources are allocated to meet production goals. This role will also provide full backup scheduling support to our Vancouver, WA facility, with a long-term hybrid onsite presence required between both locations.
What You'll Do
- Schedule all production, processing, assembly, and packaging activities.
- Ensure correct labor, tools, materials, and equipment are allocated to meet production schedules.
- Sequence work centers and adjust schedules due to downtime, backlogs, labor/material shortages, or design changes.
- Maintain accurate production reporting.
- Provide full backup scheduling support to the Vancouver, WA facility.
- Follow all Plant rules, Processes, Hygiene, and Allergens procedures related to production of Safe Quality Foods.
- Report any potentially unsafe conditions which may result in unsafe foods or noncompliance to SQF related procedures.
- Participate in SQF Root Cause and Corrective Actions as required.
- Follow all procedures related to producing Safe Quality Foods (SQF).
What We're Looking For
- High School Education + 2 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent customer-service skills.
- Capable of creating and working within spreadsheets.
- Proficient in Excel.
Nice to Have
- Training on shop floor reporting systems.
- Scheduling training in planning.
- Experience with SAP.

Work Mode
This is a hybrid role requiring onsite work at our Gresham, OR facility and, long-term, a hybrid onsite presence between the Gresham, OR and Vancouver, WA locations.
