Responsibilities
- Evaluate sales orders in relation to available production capacity and inventory levels
- Create and sustain production schedules that support on-time customer deliveries
- Track and manage order deadlines to enhance delivery performance
- Regularly assess production plans for potential risks involving inventory, capacity, or logistics
- Input and update precise order and completion details in planning software
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize efficiency and plan compliance
- Communicate with internal departments to handle shifting priorities and maintain coordination
- Assist in tracking and enhancing manufacturing cycle durations
- Coordinate with suppliers to guarantee materials arrive on schedule
- Keep production records and reports accurate within ERP or MRP platforms such as Epicor
- Deliver frequent updates on order progress, lead times, and upcoming production volumes
- Produce routine and on-demand reports to aid operational decisions
- Detect inefficiencies in planning workflows and propose corrective actions
- Help design and refine planning tools, systems, and operational processes
- Support initiatives to strengthen supply chain effectiveness and supplier collaboration
- Promote a safe, compliant workplace in line with health and safety standards
