Citi is hiring a Senior Production Engineer to establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs. This senior-level role leads critical applications systems analysis and programming activities across the organization.
What You'll Do
- Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions and identify necessary system enhancements.
- Resolve high-impact problems through evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards.
- Provide expertise in applications programming and ensure application design adheres to overall architecture.
- Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow to develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of how business areas integrate to accomplish business goals.
- Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions.
- Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary.
- Assess risk appropriately when making business decisions, driving compliance with laws, rules, and regulations.
What We're Looking For
- 6-10 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis.
- Extensive experience in system analysis and programming of software applications.
- Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development.
- Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
- Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree preferred.
